This project was part funded by The Center for Moving Image Research at The University of the West of England and was produced at Bristol Experimental & Expanded Film.
The film combines a handmade colour animation of frames exposed to the laser in a portable CD player with black and white macro footage of the electromechanical elements in various CD technologies. The live soundtrack is all sourced from CD/DVD machines.
